The VIBES HTX team is packed with events this week, so get ready HTOWN! To start off the 420 vibes, DJ Charlee Brown has been honored to celebrate Axelrad Beer Garden's birthday by deejaying this 4/20 Friday at midnight. He will be sharing the stage with other artists to pump up the bday party. The weather will be perfect, the food will be impeccable, and the music will be euphoric.
Still high? Come out to Arts x Hors D’oeuvres at Fox Hollow 4/21 Saturday from 4-9pm. Sounds are hosted by once again DJ Brody, DJ StarrSkyWalka, and MC Kut. Check out and purchase some dope art, clothes, and other goodies from Houston's most talented artists and designers. There will be a group exhibition and also a raffle for great pieces of work. So come get lifted with these local creative individuals.
The VIBES HTX team will also be representing at The Stroke: Body Paint Party in Third Ward this 4/21 Saturday at 8pm with sounds by DJ Raqqccity. And the art appreciation continues with live body painting and showcasing even more talented Houston artists. Oh and yes there will be finger lickin' bbq plates and free drinks!
Wanna continue the vibin out? DJ Charlee Brown will be at Kemah Boardwalk's Voodoo Hut on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday night. Or slide thru to Highland Village to Bosscat Kitchen & Libations on Friday to be apart of the groove. DJ Brody will also be spreading the vibes around Houston. He will be providing the sounds for Quench Lounge in Cypress on Saturday after Arts x Hor D' Ouevres. Then its back to Voodoo Hut the following Friday and Saturday DJ Brody will spinning at Lily & Bloom in downtown.
Phew....then back to the weekend. Saturday 4/28 is another Silent Disco Vibe. Be in the zone with flashing lights and your own headphones to tune into any deejay station. There will be immersive visuals, art installations, vendors, and of course Houston's best deejays including DJ Charlee Brown.
And, ending off the month with a good vibe is The Brunch Mixer + Market One Year Anniversary on 4/29 Sunday at Brooklyn Athletic Club hosted by HTX Boss Babes and our own Manuela. Providing the tunes will be our babe DJ Raqqcity who will be sharing the set with DJ Los Anml. Its going to be a litty ladies day party. Come out for the amazing weather, brunch specials, an interactive photo booth, and the amazing vendors! The VIBES HTX's clothing line will be there so check out and purchase some one of a kind dad hats and outerwear!
On a local side note, a west side artist is emerging with his new album Sincerely, Me that dropped Tuesday night featuring his hits Hennything and 9000 Bissonnet.
